Some customers of troubled gold trading company Menzgold have appeared in a court of the Accra Circuit, where is held the first hearing of the company's chairman, Nana Appiah Mensah.

Two of its companies – Brew Marketing Consult and Menzgold Ghana Limited – represented by itself, have been charged with fraud under false pretenses, in violation of Articles 20 (1) and 13 (1) of the Criminal Offenses Act of 1960 (Law 29). .

Clients, who said they wait too long, have called for the suspension of criminal proceedings against NAM1.
