A last-minute diary of the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf suggests that Matthijs' transfer from Ligt to Juventus is over.
The 19-year-old has been training with Ajax this morning, but was wondering if he would be part of the team for his pre-season tour.
De Telegraaf's reporter Mike Verweij announced that an agreement had been reached between Juventus and Ajax and that all documents were finalized, which means that De Ligt would join Juventus.
There has been speculation in Italy that the move could take place today so that De Ligt can be announced this weekend and join Juventus for their Asian tour this summer.
According to De Telegraaf, this is an unconfirmed fixed amount of 70 million euros, but it is unclear how it will be paid or what the structure of the transaction will be.
