Frozen 2, fans are wondering where Elsa runs in tow – we have a theory

Like millions of fans around the world, we wondered what direction Frozen 2 might take.

But a scene that everyone is intrigued shows Elsa sprinting on the waves, completed by a new set of power, and that literal force of the spirit of nature that we have come to love.

Although we have had few writers to tell us what this means, there is a theory that could carry some weight.

No, it is not the next step in Elsa's love life, but of the direction that could take the story as a whole.

At the beginning of the first film, the parents of Anna and Elsa, the king and queen, are only "presumed dead"

Back to the original Frozen, and we see a young Anna and Elsa orphaned by the fact that their parents, the King and Queen of Arendelle, are involved in a shipwreck.
