Game of Thrones fans know that Brienne of Tarth (played by Gwendoline Christie) went to the Dragonpit in season 7 with Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in the final.
She was seen chatting with Jaime Lannister (Nikolak Coster-Waldau) at one point, but many fans were certain that she had not returned to Winterfell.
Holding on Twitter to demand answers regarding the absence of Brine, a fan wrote: "My biggest complaint of #GameofThrones: NEEDS MORE BRIENNE."
Another added: "Someone else wonders where Brienne and Pod were tonight? #Game of thrones. "
"Where was Brienne this episode? #GameOfThrones, "a third shared.
Someone went on: "Season 8 of Game of Thrones:" Give us answers, "fans ask to find out what happened to Brienne."
A fifth simply asked, "Where is Brienne? #Game of thrones. "
However, Brienne actually made a tiny appearance in the first episode – we could just see her standing behind Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) as Jon and Daenerys entered Winterfell.
It should be noted that Melisandre (Carice van Houten) was absent from the episode after fleeing Dragonstone during season seven.

Although Brienne may not have played an important role in the first installment, it seems certain that it will play a more important role in the second episode.
At the end of the first episode, Jaime had arrived in the north of the country and had found himself face to face with Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), whom he had previously thrown from a window of tower.
Fans will no doubt be desperate to see Jaime and Brienne come together and I hope this will happen before going into battle.
Meanwhile, many viewers believe that it was revealed that Arya Stark (Maisie Williams) would kill the king of the night (Vladimir Furdik).
Arya gathered Gendry (Joe Dempsie) and asked him to make him a weapon for the upcoming battle with the army of the dead.
She handed over a piece of paper and it appeared that she wanted her weapon to be composed of several components, one of them being labeled "dragon glbad".
Fans know that dragonglbad is one of the few materials that can be used to kill White Walkers and their boss.
Is the scene evidence that Arya will be the one to stab the king of the night and end the terrifying threat of beyond the wall?
Viewers certainly do not have much time to know if the theory is correct because there are only five episodes left.
