Gareth Bale's agent opened during the Welsh feud with Zinedine Zidane.
The future of Basel is at the origin of many speculations after the return of Zidane to Real Madrid.
Bale appeared to be leaving Bernabeu last summer after criticizing Zidane after being left on the bench for the Champions League final.
Zidane made the move, but Bale had another frustrating campaign as he continues to struggle to convince his skeptics.
Bale's agent, Jonathan Barnett, insists that he was "agreed" on Zidane's return before discussing their relationship break last season.
"Gareth wanted to play one way and Zidane wanted him to play another one," Barnett told the BBC's Football Daily podcast.
"With time, the situation got worse."
Barnett hinted that Bale had no intention of leaving the Bernabeu for the moment and would wait to see what the future would hold for the Frenchman's return.
"He wants to play his whole career for Real Madrid, if it does not work, we'll talk again," Barnett added.
"He is very happy, he will discuss with Zinedine Zidane and we will leave from there.
"If you let him play as he wants and play during a game, he can be among the best."
Barnett hinted that Bale was unfairly treated by Real fans after being mocked at Bernabeu recently.
The agent added, "He does not understand what he has to do, look at his record and what he has won, see how he played.
"In the coming years, these people who booze will look at his goals and ask" what player ".
"He is the best exporter who has ever left Britain to play abroad and they do not stop hitting him."
