Concept cars at the auto show rarely disappoint – and the compact electric car of the luxury car brand Genesis is one of the cutest ideas of the future car.
At the New York International Auto Show this week, the Genesis Mint was on display, showing the upscale urban vehicle. The luxury brand Hyundai does not yet have electric vehicles in its lineup.
It's a small car with only two seats and two doors, but butterfly-winged doors are an obstacle despite the mini size. There is no safe, but there is a shelf behind the seats to store items for your city break.
The all-electric vehicle would travel 200 miles on a single charge and would be able to recharge quickly.
Inside the car, the steering wheel features a central screen surrounded by six other copper-lined screens displaying information about the car. The central screen displays all necessary driving information, such as speed and vehicle information.
The interior still feels pretty open with a leather bench: it uses this tiny space.
Genesis is known for its G90 sedan, a full size car that dominates the Mint concept. By using this sedan as a reference, you are reminded that it is a luxury product.
This car starts at about $ 70,000, but it's more than an idea.
