The Australian government has banned Huawei from providing 5G technology to its wireless networks, while New Zealand has blocked a proposal to use its telecommunication equipment for national security reasons.
The United States and the United Kingdom shared their concerns with Huawei, which was also discussed in Japan and Korea.
The United States would also be investigating Huawei for "stealing trade secrets" from US companies and have accused it of violating the penalties by lying about their activities in Iran .
On Thursday, Oxford University suspended Huawei's new donations and sponsorships in the light of "public concerns" about partnerships with the company.
