The Assistance Committee Beyond Ghana asked the contractor who did the work for the document to provide an explanation of why he created an image of a building in Kenya.
The committee wants Richard Bansah to apologize for his "indiscretion and lack of professionalism".
A statement from the committee said that Bansah's actions have "embarrbaded the president, the aid committee beyond Ghana and its president".
The committee itself apologized for the blunder.
The document was launched by President Nana Akufo-Addo on May 1 and is expected to guide the country on its path towards self-reliance.

PROTEST LETTER: USE OF THE DAWIT ASSURANCE BUILDING IN NAIROBI (KENYA) AT THE COVER OF THE DOCUMENT 'GHANA BEYOND AID & # 39;
You have been commissioned to produce an original work of art that reflects the vision of "Ghana Beyond Aid" and the strengths of the Charter and the Strategy Paper. This illustration was used as the cover page of the document. You had to produce an original work of art.
However, you used a photo of the Dawit Insurance building in Nairobi. Kenya and presented it to the Committee as if it was your initial job. This singular act of indiscretion and lack of professionalism has embarrbaded the president, the aid committee beyond Ghana and its president.
You must therefore provide explanations and official apologies to the Assistance Committee beyond Ghana.
This is an urgent matter and you must treat it as such.
