Ghana defender Lumor Agbenyenu has completed his transfer to the leading Turkish club Goztepe on Wednesday night.
The 22-year-old Portuguese giant, Sporting Lisbon, was traded against Goztepe after the conclusion of an agreement.
The left-back has signed a six-month loan agreement with the Turkish Super Lig, the Goztepe retaining the right to make it permanent.
He will join the team's formation on Thursday after signing a contract to strengthen the club's defense.
It appeared late last year that Agbenyenu was about to leave the Jose Alvalade stadium after failing to schedule regular play times.
The Ghanaian was linked to a loan from several clubs in Europe, including the French club FC Amiens and PSV Eindhoven.
However, Goztepe won the signing race for the enterprising left-back and he should start training immediately after pbading the medical check.
He has made only eight appearances in all Sporting CP competitions since his arrival in Portimonense, for an amount of 2.5 million euros.
Agbenyenu has been selected nine times for Ghana's senior national team.
