Members of the Parliamentary Special Committee on Mining and Energy congratulated Ghana's National Gas Company for indigenizing its workforce, saving the country more than $ 5,000 a month.
Currently, Atuabo's gas processing plant is run by local engineers who, according to management and the government, allow the country to save more than $ 5,000 a month.
According to them, the savings made each month resulted from the replacement of expatriates by local engineers.

Ghana Gas, which started its commercial activities in 2014, is currently undertaking an expansion exercise allowing it to process more gas by 2024 for both public and private companies.
In addition to existing pipelines, the company is also expanding its large-scale infrastructure projects to Prestea's enclave corridors, which are expected to be completed by June this year, to enable industries to expand. privately to easily access a reliable gas.
