The Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC) has begun supplying adequate gas to the Volta River Authority (VRA) to reduce power outages in the country.

Mr. Owusu-Bempah said that Ghana Gas had the capacity to produce 405 million standard cubes feet of daily gas stressing that gas was currently supplied according to demand.

He congratulated the company's management for the rapid indigenization program, pointing out that in some countries it took about 25 years to fully indigenizing, but that Ghana has only used three years.
