He congratulated the Government for adopting the
bills related to health, including the draft comprehensive law on public health, which had
contributed to improving recognition and responses to public health problems in the
country.

Dr. Osei was speaking at the eighth African Conference
Conference of Health Practitioners and Health Practitioners in Accra on
Wednesday.

The theme of the conference was:
"Harmonization of health regulations to improve health care delivery
Ghana".

He said that the country had developed a
comprehensive mental health bill that protects the rights of people with mental health
mental disorders and promotes mental health care in the community according to
international standards of human rights.

He said that the health sector is
effective and efficient, the delivery of health care must be accessible and appropriate
to the community with modern technology.

The CEO said that the technical skills and
the skills of health practitioners were essential to improving the quality of health care
as well as to achieve the third goal of sustainable development, which guarantees health
life and promote the well-being of all ages.

Dr. Osei urged health authorities to work
effectively on the safety of patients and staff, in order to avoid the situation in
patient comes with malaria and leaves with other diseases.

He stated that health authorities should
intensify their supervisory and supervisory role and ensure the speed and
continuity of care and put in place an effective referral system for
quality service.

Dr. Osei called for a decentralized system
registration of health facilities to avoid undue delays that affect the
good functioning of the health system in the country.

Mr. Kwame Dzikunu, President of Health
Network of scientists of CEOs, said the conference was to bring health practitioners
to exchange and share ideas about improving health problems in the
country.

He said the conference would provide
structural platform for participants to discuss regulatory issues bordering
on health facilities and chart the way towards quality improvement
