The summit, which combines public lecture

Summit offers Ghana a unique opportunity
use the Israeli know-how accumulated for thousands of years. As the
companies participating in the summit use both legs: "respect for
tradition with a spirit of innovation "… with the notion," work hard, and you
will be rewarded, "said Ms. Shani Cooper, Ambbadador of Israel.
Story of the Israeli breakthrough in
Agricultural Technology and Innovation, Ms. Cooper noted that "Over the years
they kept a guiding principle: working hard to put food on your
family table, "she said.
Ms. Cooper said that the Jewish people have come back
in their homeland 3000 years later, on a political island without the possibility
to import food from its neighbors, "we needed to find vital solutions for
a self-sufficient economy.
"On a desert land at 70%, with few
rain and even less natural water resources we knew we had to
flourish in the desert and provide our own food, according to the same nature
and the climate that our ancestors did. "
The Israeli Ambbadador noted that, back to
exiles, "our fathers and mothers did not work in agriculture, they were
merchants and merchants, they were Torah students and housewives.
"It's a marvel to realize how much
brave they were, so that they decided that they had to recreate themselves,
invest the new image of the modern Jew, who will be among other farmers.
She said without any knowledge, the Israelis

Ms. Cooper said today, a century later,
Although Israel is always a desert, it does not have a water problem, the water is in the process of being
recycled, reused and desalinated in the highest percentage in the world.
She said that Israel has become one of the most
advanced countries of the world for a specific agriculture, and exports
majority of fruits and vegetables.
The Israeli ambbadador said that the
Development and Cooperation (MAHSAV) trained people from all countries
in the world, including Ghana, in agriculture.
She said in 2018 only over 100
Ghanaians have been trained in agriculture in both short- and long-term courses,
"Israeli companies are present around the world and offer innovative solutions.
