Ghana's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Ms. Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey (MP), is in Germany to attend the 2019 Climate and Security Conference to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, June 4, 2019.

Ms. Botchwey, who arrived in the German capital, Berlin, on Monday, June 3, 2019, at the invitation of her counterpart, the German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs, Heiko Maas, will deliver the keynote address on the subject, Change Climate and Economic Conflicts.

She will participate in a high-level round table on the political responses to the threats that climate change poses to international peace.

As part of its program in Berlin, the Foreign Minister will hold bilateral talks with Dr. Jan Hecker, Foreign and Security Policy Advisor to German Chancellor Angela Merkel and RT. L & # 39; Hon. Markfield, Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific, Bureau of Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs in London.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs was accompanied by Ms. Doris Brese, Director of the Office of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Carolyn Oppong-Ntiri, Director of the Europe Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, as well as senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
