She said such a document is needed to help Ghanaians better understand Ghana's foreign policy and the work being done by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She spoke at the first public conference organized by the Council On Foreign Relations Ghana.
She expressed the view that few Ghanaians seem to be aware of the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The minister expressed the hope that the Council on Foreign Relations could help Ghana develop such a document.
She said Ghana needed to thoroughly examine its foreign policy and the direction to take.
She said a policy that could reach ordinary Ghanaians and help them understand the ministry's commitments was essential.
The President of the Council, Ambbadador Daniel Osei, said the goal of his team was to bridge the gap between foreign and national politics.
The theme of the conference is: "Does the withdrawal of multilateralism create new opportunities for the African continent?"
