Ghana plans to host the world championship in 2020 – Charles Osei Assibey

Accra, July 24, GNA – Mr. Charles Osei Assibey,
The President of the Ghana Armwrestling Federation (GAF) said that Ghana
consider bidding for the rights to host the 2020 World Armwrestling
Championship.

with various countries participating in the event.

South Africa hosted the event in 2004 at
Durban and it was the last time that an African country has hosted the world

Accra Sports Stadium would see different African countries like Nigeria, Mali,
Morocco, Seychelles, etc. compete for the Championship.
