Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President with delegates from the International Maritime Organization
Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia said Ghana would continue to collaborate and cooperate with the International Maritime Organization (IMO) to protect maritime activities and build capacity in this sector.
Mr. Bawumia said the following when the IMO Secretary General, Mr. Kitack Lim, paid him a courtesy call to Jubilee House on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
This is the first visit of a Secretary General of IMO to Ghana.
Mr. Bawumia and Mr. Lim addressed issues related to marine activities, including security and ways to stimulate trade.
