Member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) [MP] For the Tema West constituency, Carlos Kingsley Ahenkorah warned Ghanaians to be very attentive to the members of the economic team they chose to manage the economy.

Speaking at UTV's "Adekye Nsroma" panel debate, Carlos Ahenkorah said that the group of personalities that the largest opposition party introduced while members of its economic team were describing how they would manage the economy if they were allowed to run this country again.

Again, he said that they [NDC economic team] are not up to the economic team of the nuclear power plant, when economic brains have to be compared to seek better development for Ghana.

"Indeed, I can say with authority that Ghana will be the worst place in the world if NDC were to have the chance to lead Ghana again, as they informed us of their next group of economics experts. . ." he said.

The members of the NPP Economic Team include its President, Vice President Bawumia, and Senior Minister Yaw Osafo-Maafo as Vice President.

The other members are; Ken Ofori-Atta, Minister of Finance; Owusu Afriyie Akoto, Minister of Food and Agriculture; John Peter Amewu, Minister of Energy; Professor George Gyan Baffour, Minister of Planning; Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, Minister of Trade and Industry and Anthony Akoto Osei, Minister in charge of Monitoring and Evaluation, with Professor Joe Amoako-Tuffour as Secretary of the Team.

And on the NDC side as presented at their forum are: John Abdulai Jinapor, former Deputy Minister of Energy and Oil; Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, former Minister of Education; Fifi Fiavi Kwetey, MP for Ketu South; Cbadiel Ato Forson, former Deputy Minister of Finance, and Mona Quartey, former Deputy Minister of Finance.

However, Member of Parliament [MP] Ebenezer Okletey Tei-Larbi, of Lower Manya, East Region, commented and commented, "These members are not members of the NDC Finance and Economics team; they simply chaired the meeting on the state of the organized economy. by a pressure group of the party and also to answer some questions raised by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President of the Republic of Ghana at the first public meeting organized by the government ".
