Ghana wins three places in 49th position
Ghana climbed three places to 49th position in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola rankings released Thursday.
The Black Stars ranked 51st in the March standings, but gained 9 points to overtake Norway, Bulgaria and Montenegro.
The Black Stars, having defeated Kenya and Mauritania in the CAN qualifiers and friendly in March, remain 6th on the continent, behind Senegal, Tunisia, Nigeria, Morocco and DR Congo who occupy the 5 first places in this order.
Cameroon, Egypt, Burkina Faso and Mali are in the top 10 on the continent, Cote d 'Ivoire being just below the top 10.
Globally, Belgium remains the top ranked team, followed by France, Brazil, England and Croatia, which make up the top 5.
