The generalization of power fluctuations has brought back memories of the decrease in the number of days.
For two consecutive nights, many parts of the country have been affected by widespread blackouts. Some of the affected areas were Koforidua, Cape Coast, parts of Accra as well as parts of the northern region.
Some concerned Ghanaians speaking to Ghanaweb said the situation was uncomfortable for them.
They complained of having trouble sleeping at night; adding that the night becomes extremely hot when the lights go out.
A hair salon owner said, without an early intervention, and the fact that she was in the living room, the air conditioner that had exploded due to unstable voltage could have destroyed her store.
"When the lights started to go out, I had to turn off the meter quickly so the air conditioner would not explode," she said.
Citizens have called on the authorities responsible for stabilizing power to act quickly so that life becomes normal again.
Meanwhile, Energy Minister Peter Amewu has given his word that the power outages would be over in five days.

Power failure in 5 days – Amewu
Energy Minister Peter Amewu said power outages in parts of the country would be over in five days.
He gave badurances when he visited substations in parts of Accra on Thursday.
"Certainly because of construction work (Pokuase exchange) in progress, it is necessary that they interrupt the transmission of energy for this period. That's why some of the problems to solve, days. But we have put in place measures to minimize the impact, "he told the media.
Addressing the media of the Pokuase substation, GRIDco's general manager, Jonathan Amoako Baah, said that there was enough energy to power the country.
"Let me badure the Ghanaians that dumsor is not back, we have enough energy to supply.After the construction work, everything will come back to the reliability of supply that we have known since months".
According to him, they had to install new facilities in Pokuase to ensure the safety of the cables and allow the free flow of traffic.
He further badured that their project would be completed in 5 days to provide relief to Ghanaians.
Some Ghanaians have expressed their anger at the apparent sudden return of power outages commonly known as "dumsor" following the resumption of ECG by PDS.
