In an interview with Accra-based Kasapa FM radio, Gifty Bukari apologized for her comments on NAM1 and Menzgold's customers.

Gifty Bukari apologized to the government claiming that she had unknowingly made these remarks regarding the fate of Menzgold's customers.

She also apologized to the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, because it is he who announced the directive.

"I apologize very much to the government, and especially the Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, and the people of Ghana for unknowingly flouting the directive." I withdraw all that I said " she says.
