In an interview with the press Monday afternoon, the commander-in-chief of the Economic Freedom Fighters lamented the rise of insecurity, poor health, unemployment and corruption that darken the country.
He called the idea of the new House of Parliament useless and ridiculous, especially considering the rate of absenteeism in Parliament.
According to him, there is no democracy in Ghana because it is typical of legislators elected to go to Parliament and defend their personal interests rather than those of their respective constituents.
He further emphasized this impression of non-existence of democracy by listing some of the projects that Parliament had approved, which contrasted sharply with what citizens wanted, citing the example of the controversial national cathedral.
He also cited the recently signed bill on colonization between Ghana and the United States, as well as the right to information bill (RTI), which instead took 17 years. to be adopted.
He also lamented the non-payment of teachers recruited for the SHS dual-track system for nine months, the meager salaries earned by research badistants in Parliament and the deplorable state of the country's roads.
Ernesto Yeboah calls for an "uprising". He hopes that young people will again commit to dismantling what he describes as a "rotten system" and developing a new one capable of working in the interest of all citizens.
Yeboah underscored his full support for the upcoming March of the 2 billion Ghanaians and expressed his gratitude to the lawyer Francis Xavier Sosu and Samson Lardy for their unfailing support. He also called for the immediate release of Lance Corporal Wbadah, still held by the military at a video that went viral.
