The Judicial Personnel Association of Ghana (JUSAG) has launched a two-week ultimatum for the implementation of a report recommending the promotion of its members or confrontation with their anger.
In a statement, the Association expressed its dissatisfaction with what it called the "lax position" of management regarding the implementation of the promotion and upgrade report for 2018.
He indicated that several meetings aimed at getting the judicial service to respond to their requests had not yet been completed.
The ultimatum was given in a letter signed by the secretary general of JUSAG, Derrick Annan, and addressed to the Chief Justice, Judge Sophia Akuffo.
JUSAG stated that he would be obliged to advise himself accordingly if management did not respond to his concerns.
"The Association faces similar concerns about when the 2019 promotion and development exercise will begin as there is no defined process for qualified staff to apply."
"Delays in promotions and development exercises have an impact on the expected earnings and pensions of qualified personnel and, as such, the Association is seriously opposed to any attempt to withhold or circumvent the legitimate benefits of the program. staff."
Since 2015, JUSAG has gone on strike to put pressure on its demands to obtain better conditions of service for its members.

The strike was launched because of the government's inability to consolidate salaries and allowances for members, as approved by the Judicial Council in 2012.
