The late Ahmed Hussein-Suale was a key member of Anas Aremeyaw's investigative team.
The Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) hopes to immortalize the murdered journalist Ahmed Hussein-Suale by naming the category of investigative journalist of the year his annual award.
The Association stated that although the modalities of this category have not yet been finalized, it is hoped that the award will be a fitting tribute to Ahmed, who was murdered on January 16, 2019 in Accra.
He was only 32 years old when two men riding motorbikes shot him three times in Madina.
GJA President Affail Monney made the announcement at a commemorative ceremony in honor of Ahmed Friday in Accra.
