Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, flag bearer
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, said his decision to challenge this position was a call from God.
As a Catholic, he said, he believes that God has charged him with leading the party and gaining power in 2020 to ensure a better life for the people of Ghana.
The second vice-speaker of Parliament made these revelations in an interview with Yen Sempa by Onua FM and moderated by Bright Asempa.
"I am Catholic and I believe it is a call from God to be President of Ghana," he said Tuesday.
The former health minister said, "It is a pbadion for me to see Ghana climb last last and improve the well-being of Ghanaians."
"My commitments and my pbadions have been to improve the leadership and governance of this country," he added.
The MP for Nadowli Kaleo called for a focus "not only on formal education but also on informal education".
