GET YOUR PHIL
It was reported Wednesday that Chelsea "was already preparing for life" without Mr. Open Play Chance Creator, Lead instigator of transfers and Eden Hazard.

The Independent claimed that Philippe Coutinho was top of the blue list in terms of replacements for the Belgian.

But a little aside in this story adds: "We do not expect Liverpool to bring the Brazilian international to Anfield". This will definitely prevent him from being linked to a return to Anfield in the summer.

CASE OF DEFENSE
If only Coutinho was a right-back. As we know, Liverpool has bottled the race in the Premier League (read: the level at the top on goal difference with a game in hand and 13 left to play) because they lent their third right back at a time when others in front of him were fit and available. Silly stupidities.

The sun – and they are required to know, is not it? – report that Jurgen Klopp "will ask for signatures for the defense in the summer after a disastrous January on the transfer market".

After being "covered" last month, Klopp should apparently "strengthen his support behind the central defenders of choice", Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez. Is not that what Dejan Lovren and Joel Matip are?

The whole story seems to rest on the fact that Liverpool signed Van Dijk last January, but that there is not one in this winter window. Which is just ridiculous.

UNDER IMPULSION
A club that knows exactly what it wants, is Tottenham. James Maddison is on the list of their local summer transfer goals.

According to the Daily Mirror, Leicester midfielder "has been identified as a potential substitute for Christian Eriksen", who seems to be heading for Real Madrid.

The Spurs "are long-time admirers" of Maddison, and his first impressive season in the Premier League "has again aroused their interest." So with the club "little crowded", the bloody Portuguese Eric Dier, "they hope to increase their quota in the next window of transfer".

Maddison is on a list that includes David BrooksJack Clarke of Leeds, Jarrod Bowen of Hull and right back Max Aarons of Norwich.

AND THE REST
Chelsea will demand more than 100 million pounds from Real Madrid for Eden Hazard if the Spanish club makes an offer for the 28-year-old Belgian this summer … Real Madrid hopes to risk less than 100 million pounds and could use Isco, 26 years or Marco Asensio, 23, under an agreement … Or, the striker Neymar, 27 years old for Paris St-Germain and Brazil, is the number one target of Real Madrid, which could threaten Hazard's hopes to move to Bernabeu club … Manchester United is in advanced talks with Ander Herrera has announced an extension of the contract. The current contract with the Spanish midfielder will expire this summer … Arsenal has identified Genk winger Leandro Trossard, 24, as a summer goal … Ryan Sessegnon, a Fulham teenager, has not not yet accepted new deal at Craven Cottage, having started negotiations last year. He has less than eighteen months left on his current contract. Bournemouth's future for Asmir Begovic is uncertain after the 31-year-old goalkeeper had a fight with coach Eddie Howe.
