The first tertiary sector competition was launched with the aim of reducing the unemployment rate in the country and pushing students to become entrepreneurs.
The contest organized by Graphic Business and the Ministry of Enterprise Development is a quiz between inter-tertiary business schools. About 16 higher education institutions will compete for first place as the brain behind the best business idea.
Franklin Sowah, director of marketing and sales for Graphic Communications Group Limited, explained that the competition was aimed at developing the entrepreneurial skills of students. "Our interaction showed us that business growth prospects were many, but there was a gap. Our capabilities are weak in terms of idea gathering and development.
