The appointment
The letter of appointment of Dr. Alexander Adusei Jr., dated March 11, 2019, was informed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority, asking him to give effect to the appointment in accordance with the Article 8 (5) of the GPHA Act.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has signed an executive instrument declaring the Keta coastline as a land designated for a seaport.
The proposed port of Keta should be built around Lake Volta in Kedzi town, Keta municipality.
The seaport would be added to the two existing ports, Takoradi in the western region and Tema in the Greater Accra region.
