The government paid tribute to Emmanuel Kwabena Kyeremanteng Agyarko, MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon, who recently pbaded away.

The MP died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 in the United States after a long illness caused by cancer of the gall bladder, according to his family.

The last funeral rites and funeral service took place on Saturday, January 26 at the Zimmerman Presbyterian Church of Odumase-Krobo, in the eastern region.

The Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, read a tribute on behalf of the government and said the 61-year-old had faithfully promoted the government's program, putting it forward with pbadion.

"Kwabena has always had a sense of high duty, quiet demeanor and a contagious sense of humor that was dear to all of her colleagues," said the MP for Ofoase Ayirebi Constituency.

"He was the incarnation of the astute politician of the 21st century, endorsed by his sustained leadership that politics can be done effectively without disrespect to each other."

His family, his first wife, Josephine, and his colleagues were read by Deputy Majority Leader Sarah Adwoa Safo.

Although Mr. Kyeremanteng Agyarko only served publicly under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, under John Agyekum Kufuor, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah said: "He has always been right about his facts and pbadionately expressed his positions on political issues "for the current government.

He was generous in spirit and had a good spirit, added the minister.

The late Member of Parliament was born on December 10, 1957.

He left seven children and three women.
