Deputy Sports Minister Perry Okudzeto, who is also a member of the Black Stars Steering Committee, said the government would do its part to prepare the Black Stars for the African Cup of Nations this year. will run in Egypt in June.

Ghana has been paired with defending champions Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau in Group F and will be based in Ismaili during the tournament.

Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah said he would need all the support and preparation needed before the CAN.

Ghana will begin its campaign against Benin on June 25, 2019 at the sports stadium Ismail.
