Government will clear all caterers due to arrears – Minister | Social

Ms. Cynthia Mamle Morrison, Minister of Women's Affairs, Children and Social Welfare, badured the caterers of the Ghana School Feeding Program (GSFP) that the government would soon settle all their arrears.

She said the government had already paid 186 million GHC through the Ghana School Feeding Program (GSFP) to support the program and asked the caterers to remain loyal to the government.

The minister told Hohoe this during her working visit to the Volta region.

She was unhappy that some caterers gave the wrong number of students they fed to deceive the system and said that the audit was ongoing and that these caterers would be treated.

Ms Gertrude Quashigah, National Coordinator of the Ghana School Feeding Program (GSFP), said the program would continue to train caterers and ensure that children receive nutritious meals at school and the children. urged to work diligently to justify their commitment.

She asked them to add fruit to meals, at least once a week.
