This is the first day of the Grand National Festival in Aintree 2019.
The three-day event begins with the "Grand National Thursday", which honors local sports talent from Merseyside.
The big race of the festival will take place Saturday with the Grand National while Tiger Roll seems to follow in the footsteps of Red Rum by winning races back to back.
All of Aintree's action can be viewed on TV and online with ITV Racing and Racing UK.

How to watch the cover of ITV Racing
ITV will broadcast its preliminary program, the Opening Show, every morning from 9:30 to 10:30 on ITV4.
Thursday: 14:00 until 17:00
Friday: 14:00 until 17:00
Saturday: 14:00 until 18:15

Racing UK
The 21 races of the Grand National Festival will be broadcast live on Racing UK, including those before and after the end of ITV coverage.
You can subscribe to their coverage to watch on Sky, Freeview and online / mobile. It is available on Sky Channel 426 and Virgin Media Channel 536.
