Grant Hall submitted to Steve McClaren a selection dilemma as he was preparing the Queens Park Rangers for the Saturday clash with Birmingham City.
The defenseman played the 90 minutes against Portsmouth on Tuesday night and, after regaining his fitness, is determined to enter the eleventh of QPR at the expense of Toni Leistner or Joel Lynch.
McClaren admits that Hall has posed a good problem for him while the Hoops have not won a league win since Boxing Day.
S addressing the QPR official website, he said: "We wanted him to be in this position all season.
"It took a while, but he was very successful in his rehabilitation. His performance and white sheet certainly caused a problem, an interesting problem.
"I know we still have to handle it, but it's great to be able to choose from the top three half-center."
