The head of the Greek conservative opposition Kyriakos Mitsotakis was invested prime minister after his party's victory in the parliamentary elections.
Mitsotakis had earlier told voters that they were preparing for "a difficult, but beautiful fight".
His New Democracy party overthrew leftist Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
The other loser of the polls is the far right Golden Dawn who was eliminated from parliament.
