Developer jailbreak p0sixninja recently tweeted an image link this revealed a jailbroken Apple TV. The jailbreak showed the injection of a new menu option that looked like the one used in the hacks of the previous version of Apple TV.
There's still a lot of work to do before it's aired in prime time, because the second generation of Apple TV, based on iOS, does not even have an application launcher yet. It will be interesting to know what are Apple's plans for the new Apple TV. Maybe a clue could filter today at this special Apple event.
This jailbreak is not yet publicly available, so do not get upset right now. Oh heck, go ahead and excite the fans of Apple TV. It sounds like fun!
