One guy has pushed the concept of the "scary clown" to a whole new level, while his terrifying tattoo on the back seems to come to life when he moves.
Hendrik Schönenberg had to spend 20 hours under a tattoo gun before his huge piece of art was completed, and the impressive result makes it easy to understand why it took so long.
The horribly realistic and bloody tattoo is enough to give a taste of coulrophobia, even to the bravest of people – the fear of clowns.

It took four tattoo artists, Torsten Malm, Adrian Ciercoles, Moriel Seror and Kätlin Malm, to design this complex pattern, which covers the entire back of Hendrik.
The picture had been commissioned by the client, who wanted a horror clown piece, but the designers had the artistic freedom to create the exact tattoo.
I think it's safe to say that they have nailed the "horror clown" requirement.
By stretching the muscles of his back and rolling his shoulders, the satisfied client is able to make the clown tie and wince as if distorted by a carnival mirror.
Tattoo artist Torsten talked about the design, explaining:
We have been all four friends for a while and we thought it would be a good experience working on a bigger project.
He gave us a lot of artistic freedom to design it ourselves. We had a lot of fun designing the design together and making it as terrifying as possible for him.
Moriel, who also worked on the tattoo, added that the terrifying piece was not a happy reflection of Hendrik's personality, adding:
He made working with him very easy and we enjoyed the process very much. It means a lot to us as artists because long hours of work can also make us tired.
He was amazed and very grateful. He did an amazing job crossing these two days. It's not easy when four artists are working on you at the same time.
In fact, despite what the horror picture might suggest, we thought he was one of the nicest people in the world.
Images of this frightening art work that was emerging were shared on Facebook, where she garnered more than 240,000 shares and likes and more than 12 million views.
Tattoo artist Kätlin explained how some people were horrified by this work of art, but she explained that it meant that they had achieved their goal.
She says:
People are mostly confused by the fact that you can possibly make a tattoo like this.
This has also scared and disgusted many people – but that's exactly the reaction one can expect for a scary clown tattoo. He told us we had done our job.
I think we were happy that you can not tell which part was made by which artist. It looks like a complete piece made by an artist. We could not be happier with the end result.
It can not be denied that this is an impressive piece, but the clown is certainly not the type of character you would like to see at a child's birthday party!
