That the petitioners are damned, the last season of Game of Thrones is nominated for at least 32 Emmy Awards, working in categories like Best Dramatic, Best Actor and Best Actress. Alfie Allen, Carice van Houten and Gwendoline Christie, aka Theon Greyjoy, Lady Melisandre and Brienne of Tarth are among the candidates. The crazy thing? According to the Hollywood Reporter, they named themselves after HBO chose not to price them.
Game of Thrones has a galaxy of characters and we can not expect HBO to introduce everyone. And, as the Hollywood Reporter notes, it is not unusual for actors and actresses, or their representatives, to apply themselves. What is unusual, however, is that those who apply to score Emmy nominations.
All three stars have nominated for different awards. Christie is in the running for Best Supporting Actress, Allen for Best Leading Actor and Van Houten for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series. Elsewhere, Kit Harrington, who plays the role of Jon Snow, is named best lead actor and Emilia "Daenerys Targaryen" Clarke is targeting the award for Best Leading Actress.

As mentioned, the blockbuster received 32 nominations in total, making HBO the network with the highest number of nominations this year – 137 in total.
Many people have loved the last season of Game of Thrones, including apparently the Emmy nominations committee, but have also pbadionately hated other members of the mbadive base of the series. More than a million fans (infamous) have signed a petition for repeat the eighth and final seasonand David Benioff and D.B. Weiss has faced a lot of stigma online about how the series has ended.
Expect more titles from Game of Thrones soon at the casting – but no, as we discovered recently, Benioff and Weiss – goes down to San Diego for a Comic-Con panel this weekend.
