Boya Adwoa Hajia Boya, former Deputy Minister of Women's Affairs and Children

The former Deputy Minister of Women and Children congratulated Mrs. Charlotte Osei, former President of the Ghana Electoral Commission, for her appointment as head of the United Nations Electoral Commission in Afghanistan.

However, she added, all women in the country are proud of Ms. Osei's latest achievement and have expressed hope that the former head of the European Commission will excel in her new duties to honor Ghana.

"I am very proud of you and the women of Ghana are proud of you, and the women of the Northern Region celebrate with you your recent appointment as the UN Election Commissioner in Afghanistan.

"We are optimistic that you will continue to shine in your duty to the world and raise the flag of Ghana high," Hajia Boya wrote in a statement.

Hajia Boya also paid tribute to Ms. Osei, saying that if not for her behavior and ability to do the right thing, Ghana could have been plunged into civil war.

Hajia Boya is convinced that the last appointment of the former EC president was God's reward for his good intentions and servitude to Ghana.

I am very proud of you and the women of Ghana are proud of you. Women from the North Region celebrate with you your recent appointment to the position of High Commissioner for Elections in Afghanistan. We are optimistic that you will continue to shine in your duty to the world and raise the flag of Ghana.

Allah is never unfair to the slightest degree. if there is good, he doubles it and gives a great reward of his own presence.

Allah SWT will surely reward you for your good intentions towards Ghana, our beloved country. You could have thrown this country into civil war, but let's all praise Allah who guided you with reason. You behaved and did the right things.
