Harry Kane praised the new generation of young English players, saying that they hardly needed his advice to flourish.

England made a perfect start to their European qualifying by beating the Czech Republic 5-0 at Wembley before a 5-1 victorious win in Montenegro on Monday.

Declan Rice and Callum Hudson-Odoi made their debut in England after the international break. Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund again impressed.

"I am extremely proud," said English captain Kane. "It was not so long ago, I was 21 years old and I was making my debut. These guys are even younger. This is so great for our country.

Sancho, 19, and Hudson-Odoi, 18, made badists against the Czech Republic and Montenegro respectively, while Rice, 20, gave a confident performance from the start in Podgorica.
