Harry Kane said a victory in the League of Nations would surpbad last year's race to the World Cup semi-finals
Harry Kane thinks that 2019 will be even more successful than last year for England if it won the finals of the League of Nations in June.
Gareth Southgate challenged all odds to lead his team to the semifinals of the World Cup last summer, but Kane believes the success of the League of Nations in Portugal would exceed the achievements of 2018.
England must play tough European qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Montenegro before facing the Netherlands in the League of Nations, but Kane is optimistic about the future of his young team promising.
Kane won the Golden Shoe at the World Cup last summer
"If we win the League of Nations, I think it will be the best," said Kane about comparisons with 2018.
"It is not very often that you have the chance to win a trophy under an English jersey.If we have a good summer and if we win this trophy, for me it is a better year."

"2018 was fantastic, but the main thing for me is that the team is trying to win, and we have a chance this year."
Kane admits that the English fans think their team can succeed, but believe they have managed the pressure since their return from Russia.

"People are waiting for us to be successful and before the World Cup, there was none," he added.
"It's great that we've reversed the situation and it's up to us, as players, to take advantage of this experience to manage expectations now.
"I think we managed it [the weight of expectation] really good since the world cup.

"I think we're the only team to reach the World Cup semifinals to get through their League of Nations group and we probably had one of the toughest groups to stand out from the crowd. [Croatia and Spain].

"All we can do is play as we did, with that freedom, and I think the players we have allow us to do that."
