The founder and leader of the All People’s Congress (APC), Hassan Ayariga, expressed his gratitude to God and the health workers who took care of him when he was infected with COVID-19.
A post on his Facebook wall showed he was released on Thursday after three weeks of treatment at the Maritime and Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH) in Tema and Accra respectively.
Her first message read: “Help me thank God, I just got out of the hospital after three weeks of COVID-19.”
As the second message read, “Help me thank all the doctors, nurses, ENT, nurses at the International Maritime Hospital and KBTH for my life, and to all who interceded on my behalf, I am very grateful to God for my life, COVID -19 is no respect for people, wear your nasal mask and be careful ”.
He begged everyone to wear their nasal masks and stay safe.
An update of COVID-19 cases on the Ghana Health Service page shows that as of August 7, Ghana recorded 892 deaths from COVID-19 with 109,022 confirmed cases.
