It is true that Richard Lewis only appears on Calm your enthusiasm on a recurring basis, and doesn’t always appear as much as other Larry David co-stars like Jeff Garlin and JB Smoove. However, Lewis appeared in seven of the ten episodes that make up Season 10, which marked his highest frequency rate for the entire series, which had previously peaked at five. It felt like the show was comfortable giving him more to do overall, but sure enough, life got in the way, and now we won’t be seeing him at all for a while. Guess they’ll have to fill the void with a ton of guest spots from the Hollywood elite.
