According to the statement, Swami Satyanand Saraswati was initiated by his guru Swami Ghananand Saraswati in the divine order of Sannyasi on February 12, 2012.
Swami Satyanand was a Ghanaian born Catholic and, during his adult life, became a Hindu and worked for Hindu Dharma for more than 35 years.
Swami began his journey in spiritualism at a tender age. After a successful career as an accountant, Swami renounced living in the monastery.
Upon the eternal departure of his guru, Swami Ghananand, Swami Satyanand built a shrine in his honor at the headquarters of the Hindu monastery of Africa, Ghana, where daily devotion is offered.
According to the statement, he helped his guru, Swami Ghananand, restructure the Hindu monastery of Africa, Ghana, to spread the knowledge of Sanatana Dharma.
Under the divine guidance of his guru Swami Ghananand, the Hindu monastery of Africa, Ghana, established five branches in Ghana and one in Togo, and published 15 books, all devoted to Hinduism.
Swami Satyanand was born on March 5, 1938 in Brafoyow, a city near Cape Coast in the central region.
