Health officials warn of a possible exposure to measles at the Los Angeles International Airport.
The Los Angeles County Public Health Department on Friday warned a traveler who allegedly crossed the airport around Memorial Day while he was infected with measles.
They ask travelers who may have been exposed to the disease to remain alert to symptoms such as fever, cough, and a distinct rash.
Nearly one thousand cases of measles have been reported nationally this year, which represents the highest level ever recorded for more than 20 years.
