– Some parts of the capital were flooded after a rain Sunday evening

– Some places, including the Kwame Nkrumah, Kanashie, Avenor, Dansoman, and others, have all been flooded

– A young man was also found dead after heavy rains

Affected areas include the Kwame Nkrumah Interchange, Kanashie, Avenor Dansoman.

The heavy rains have seen muffled pipes pouring water on the roads and making them unimaginable. Pbadengers were forced to get off their vehicles and cross the water, while other vehicles were forced to change directions.

The flood was caused by the Odaw River in the heart of Accra at Kwame Nkrumah Cirle. He was overflowing.

Some Ghanaians on social media also shared their experiences of where they were during and after the rains.

Meanwhile, a young man was also found dead at Awudome in Accra. An official from the National Disaster Management Organization's National Search and Rescue Team, responsible for patrols, told Citi News that he had found the lifeless body of a man believed to be in his 30s. years near a drain in the area.

Ambulance and police arrived at the scene a few minutes after the discovery of the body and transported the remains to the morgue.

A resident of the area stated that the deceased had already been seen as a traffic officer.

"I know him in the neighborhood. He is popularly known as Kweku Bonsam. He was directing traffic just around the roundabout because of the water situation. We think that he may have taken alcohol beyond his limit and that he was so carried away by the water up to that point. [where he was found dead]. "
