Senior leaders of Ghana's top division clubs stormed Kumasi to support Asante Kotoko ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup against Cotton Sport, in a MASSIVE gesture of solidarity with the Porcupine Warriors.
In what turns out to be a unified movement among the country's elite clubs, the highest officials of the other 15 Premier League clubs are in Ghana's second-largest city to offer their unwavering support.
They stormed the Garden City en mbade to ensure that the Ghana Premier League record holders get the title for the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
Hearts of Oak board member Alhaji Akanbi Brimah, Berekum Chelsea director Nana Sarfo Oduro, Techiman chief executive Takuyi Arhin and Wa All Stars director John Ansah are in Kumasi.
Albert Commey, executive director of Aduana Stars, Linda Ansong, director of Liberty Professionals, and Felix Ansong, executive director, and Delali Senaye, boss of Inter Allies, are among the most senior officials who have succeeded each other in the city.
Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, owner of Ashantigold, West African Football Academy (WAFA) Director of Operations, George Ofosuhene, Medeama Chief Executive Officer James Essilfie, and Club Communications Director Patrick Akoto, Karela United spokesman Eric Alagidede and Dreams FC director Kurt Okraku and spokesman Henry Asante-Twum. all in the Garden City to express their solidarity with the CAF Confederation Cup activists.
This mbadive presence confirmed the continuation of discussions on a unified front of the Premier League teams, who wish to become the main players in Ghanaian football.
