Andy Ruiz Jr. surprised the world of boxing Saturday with his heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua in the seventh round.

This victory is one of the greatest upheavals in the history of modern boxing and makes Ruiz Jr. the first Mexican heavyweight champion in the history of this sport.

The fast catapult to the glory of Ruiz Jr. sets up larger fights that could see him face opponents such as Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder, in addition to what will be a revenge to see absolutely against Joshua. But for now, Ruiz Jr. seems determined to use his new star power to achieve another goal: win the Snickers sponsorship.

Ruiz Jr. has long been a fan of the famous chocolate bar, repeatedly shouting at Snickers before even booking his fight for the championship. Here it is in April after his victory over Alexander Dimitrenko, casually pulling a Snickers bar from his bad pocket in the middle of an interview.

On Twitter, Ruiz Jr. regularly tagged Snickers in his publications and even went so far as to explain why he believed so much in his favorite chocolate bar.

When asked in another interview he was going to be sponsored by the brand, Ruiz Jr. said he was working there and then explained what the brand meant to him.

"My father would always give me a Snicker before a fight," said Ruiz Jr. "It gives me energy, it gives me everything I need to win."

After his tremendous annoyance against Joshua, Snickers finally responded to Ruiz Jr.'s praise, tweeting a message of support and informing him that they were sending him a package of care. Ruiz Jr. reacted with enthusiasm.

The knockout victories of Ruiz Jr. caused a sensation, not only because it was annoying, but also because his body type compares to Joshua. Joshua's construction seems to be marble, while Ruiz Jr. looks like a man who likes casual Snickers.

Ruiz Jr. has already proved that he would be a phenomenal spokesperson for the brand and, after winning the heavyweight title, he seems to be about to achieve another dream.
