Dr. Samuel Ato Duncan, Executive Chairman of the World Peace Mission (COA) of the Center of Awareness, called on the government to badist in its efforts to find a cure for HIV / AIDS.

According to him, he had developed a product that could be a breakthrough in the fight against the HIV / AIDS epidemic, but further research was needed.

"Ghana should continue to work on this product in order to produce appropriate scientific data using an international standard protocol to ensure its effectiveness, so that the World Health Organization can improve its effectiveness. accept for the treatment of HIV / AIDS, "he said.

Dr. Duncan spoke at the launch of COA's "COAFS" food supplement, which helps the human immune system fight off various diseases.

The immune system strengthens the body's defense mechanism against disease and also supports the immune system against viruses, bacteria and parasites.

A plus for development

Dr. Duncan said the economic benefits of his discovery were enormous, as they could make the country a world leader in HIV treatment and treatment.

"We are all talking about Ghana beyond help.

This product, once fully developed, can be a major badet for the development of the country and make us a world leader in medicine, "he said.

He added that research on HIV treatment should be a top priority, which should not be undermined.

Dr. Duncan, however, explained that his formula was being developed and that, therefore, the antiretroviral drug was the recommended treatment for HIV / AIDS.

"The antiretroviral drug has been approved by the World Health Organization for the treatment and management of HIV.

We should never challenge this fact until a cure is found and WHO approves it, but there is currently no cure for HIV.

"People living with HIV need to take their antiretroviral medication with diligence.

They can take COAFS to boost the immune system, but it's not a replacement, "he said.

Mr. Atuahene stated that the commission had not abandoned the ACO, but that it had had a series of engagements with the center, the last one having taken place in May of this year .

The purpose of these commitments, he explained, was to conduct an independent scientific badessment that would ultimately lead to product development in the event that the COA product proves to be effective against HIV / AIDS.
