BERLIN, Aug.12 (Reuters) – German consumer goods group Henkel (HNKG_p.DE) on Thursday raised its sales outlook for the year as activity rebounded above pre-crisis 2019 levels in the first half of 2021, driven in particular by its adhesives unit.
Henkel said he now expected 2021 sales to grow 6-8% organically, down from a previous forecast of 4-6%, and confirmed he expected profit per preferred share increases in the high single-digit percentage range through mid-teens.
Second-quarter sales grew 15% organically to 4.96 billion euros ($ 5.82 billion), just below the average analyst consensus of 4.98 billion.
