Tony Khan gives more clues regarding the surprise signing of AEW Revolution. Khan revealed he was fired for the scheduled signing on Sunday.
The AEW Revolution pay per view is scheduled to take place this Sunday. The upcoming event, AEW’s first on a Sunday, will feature 9 matches on the map, including Sting’s first professional wrestling match since his retirement in 2015 alongside the Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch for the Championship of the AEW world between Kenny Omega and Jon Moxley.

The hype for the event, however, isn’t just limited to matches. Fans were promised a new pay per view signing. The announcement was first made by Paul Wght (FKA Big Show) and President and CEO Tony Khan gave more clues about the surprise.

Speaking with Busted Open Radio, Khan revealed the signing was one of his favorites. He also added that it was a “he” and that the wrestler was engaged in the promotion.
“He’s one of my favorite wrestlers of all time. I am very excited about this. “Yes, I am excited.” “I’ll say one thing, he’s one of my all-time favorite wrestlers. I tipped Unrestricted, he’s a man. He’s coming, he’s going to do great things for us, he’s committed. He will sign a contract on Sunday à la carte. We are going to have good matches. and we’ll get all kinds of news from the show. It’s going to be cool.

It will be interesting to see who finally releases on Sunday. Fans have already speculated on several big names including Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, John Cena and Dave Batista. In reality, it will not be among the names mentioned but we will have to wait and watch to see who he really is.
